You know AZ, for the life of me I can't figure out why you can't get quotes to work now. You have it formatted properly. The only thing I can figure is there's a switch in the profile that turns them off. I'll have to look in the control panel and see if there's one there that disables it and you've got it turned off or something.

Heck, even quoting your quote, what you intended to do to my original comment comes out right when I quote your post. The function has to be disabled in your control panel or something.

I think I found it. In your Profile (click on "Profile" up at the top of the page), down in the preferences section (the thrid main area in the profile page) look for the "Always allow BBcode" setting. If it's off, turn it on. That will enable the proper quoting. It may not change old posts, but it will make quoting work for you going forward.

For what it's worth, I've tried to use my administrative magical powers, and once he posts it, I couldn't fix it in his post either!

HOWEVER, I think that I did in fact solve it! We'll see, next time he tries.

On the third try I got a fully functioning original switch. So at least for now it's working. My restore can now continue. Headstock is reassembled and operational.

Of course I'm sure this will only be a temporary affair so I'd still like to get my hands on the toggle wiring setup. Either a 3PDT setup or two toggles. Haven't decided which way I'd like to go when the day does come. Probably an On/Off switch with a separate reversing switch with a flip cover over it.
